Chapter 6 · Cultural and art marketing in 2026

AI and agentic systems in 2026

From generative AI to autonomous agents, agentic commerce, and GEO.

Generative vs. agentic AI

Generative AI responds to a prompt and produces output. Agentic AI plans steps, uses external tools, and iterates with minimal oversight — taking on operations of entire departments.

Agents in practice

  • Content Generation Agent — blogs, emails, CMS publishing in brand voice.
  • Social & Email Agent — scheduling and sending based on data.
  • Analytics Agent — reports, campaign recommendations.
  • Always with human review — risk of hallucinations, copyright, GDPR.

Agentic commerce and GEO

A customer assigns a task to an AI assistant ('find an opening in Prague next weekend'). The agent evaluates, books, and pays without clicking through to a website. Marketing must optimise for Generative Engine Optimisation — structured data, clear answers, not keywords alone.

Human creativity remains irreplaceable: audiences value places and works with transparently declared human intent over synthetic substitutes.
